1. About the site and the software

This website and the SayIt app are built and run by PlutoKeating as an individual; contact PlutoKeating@outlook.com. The website presents the product and provides downloads and documentation. The app is an Android application that turns spoken words, typed text and photos into written entries.

2. Licence and use

The SayIt app and the text and design of this website belong to PlutoKeating, all rights reserved. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on your own devices. Do not distribute modified versions or offer services under the official name.

Third-party open-source components inside the app are used under their own licences. Third-party trademarks and names belong to their respective owners.

3. Account

The final draft requires a PlutoKeating account (id.plutokeating.beer ↗). Registration, sign-in and deletion follow that service’s own rules. Keep your sign-in safe; use under your account is your responsibility.

4. Acceptable use

Use the app only on devices you own or are authorised to use. Do not use the final-draft service for unlawful content, and do not call the endpoints in bulk by automation, bypass limits or interfere with the service. To prevent abuse, the service may rate-limit, refuse requests or disable the accounts involved.

5. Third-party services

Use involves third parties: Cloudflare (hosting this website and the endpoints), id.plutokeating.beer (accounts), the language-model providers configured by the operator (final drafts), GitHub (where the rough-draft model files are downloaded from) and the Android system on your phone (default assistant, permissions). Each has its own terms and privacy policy, independent of this project.

6. No warranty

The website and the app are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Rough drafts and final drafts are machine-generated and may contain errors; the audio and the rough draft are always kept and are the record to rely on.

The final-draft service is provided on a best-effort basis with no availability commitment and may be changed or discontinued at any time; recording, the rough draft, reading back and export keep working regardless. SayIt is not a meeting-minutes, captioning or professional record-keeping tool. Export and back up anything that matters.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the website or the app, including loss of data, damage to devices, expenses or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the product evolves. The updated version takes effect when published on this page, with the date and version shown at the top.
